Lindsey “linz” Jarrett (she/her) is a craftsman and curator of evocative worlds. She embraces feminine confidence and neurodivergent joy through fiber arts. Her rejection of a neutral palette engages and entertains as her yarn-based practice emphasizes pattern and color. Linz finds collecting to be influential and essential to world building as second-hand materials drive her creativity and interest in sustainability. Whether she is knitting, weaving, crocheting, sewing, spinning, or experimenting, her passion for assembling whimsical narratives shines through.
Graduating Summa Cum Laude at the end of May
Linz will be working for Addy Knits as a Production Intern this summer!
"It is such a joy to see Lindsey’s creative practice! Her artistic aesthetic is so clearly defined, and she always unapologetically, wonderfully, and completely devotes her work to that vision. Though despite having such a visual niche carved out, she doesn’t allow it to make her work stale, and is constantly pushing her designs and mediums to make new and exciting pieces :^)"
"Lindsey is a colorful and inquisitive artist. Her work comes across as warm and effortless despite it being extremely thorough and labor intensive. This effortless nature makes her pieces feel extra inviting for the viewer prompting deeper thinking and appreciation of the work. Everything she does has a touch of love, passion and pink!!"
"Linz is constantly inspiring artists around her (especially me) through her distinct style of work. I’m always impressed with her ability to work with so many different types of media and remain true to her craft and aesthetic. She adapts so well to different techniques and is an absolute dream to bounce ideas off of when it comes to the ideation of the works of others and hers!!"
